RentHolder Technologies Inc. is committed to protecting your personal information and handling it in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy laws.

What we collect

Account details, identity-verification (KYC) data required to confirm who you are, transaction and deposit details, and technical data needed to operate the service securely.

Why we collect it

To verify identities, hold and reconcile deposits, meet legal and regulatory obligations (including anti-money-laundering requirements), and protect users against fraud.

How we protect it

Personal and verification data is encrypted at rest, access is limited on a least-privilege basis, and payment-card data is tokenized through our payments provider, so it never touches RentHolder’s own servers.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements. Contact support@rentholder.com.
